Entrepreneur and brand strategist Miriam Kagwa is set to launch Africa’s largest marketing platform, aimed at giving businesses across Africa greater visibility and access to global markets.
The platform, which Kagwa describes as a “movement to democratize marketing in Africa,” will provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with affordable tools to promote their products, analyze consumer behavior, and connect with buyers both locally and internationally.
Among its core features are affordable marketing packages, data-driven insights, training and mentorship programs, and a cross-border networking system designed to link entrepreneurs from different African countries. The platform also intends to spotlight African brands globally, positioning the continent as a source of innovation and creativity.
Kagwa, who has built a successful career in corporate leadership and brand management, said her professional journey inspired her to develop the platform.
“I saw brilliant ideas die quietly, not because they weren’t good, but because they couldn’t reach the right audience. This platform is about changing that reality for African businesses,” she said.
She emphasized that women and youth entrepreneurs would be a key focus, noting that they remain underserved in mainstream business ecosystems despite being some of the most active drivers of innovation.
“African women are natural entrepreneurs. They just need visibility, access, and the right networks to compete globally,” Kagwa added.
Industry observers say the project, once fully operational, could provide a significant boost to Africa’s digital economy by lowering barriers for SMEs and promoting intra-African trade.
Kagwa plans to roll out the platform in phases, beginning with pilot launches in major cities before expanding across the continent.
If successful, the initiative could redefine how African businesses market themselves and reshape the continent’s position in the global digital economy.
