
Renowned Kenyan media personalities Janet Mbugua and Jamila Mohammed have been named among the “50 Most Influential Women in Kenya 2025” by Africapitol Ventures.

Janet Mbugua: Champion for Girls and Communities
Janet Mbugua, a celebrated journalist and founder of the Inua Dada Foundation, was recognized for her tireless advocacy around menstrual health and gender equity. Through her foundation, she works to end period poverty and uplift marginalized girls and women.
