Orange Bank Africa has appointed Audrey Koffi as its new General Manager, effective May 1, 2026.
The appointment was announced on May 6, marking a new chapter for the financial institution as it seeks to accelerate growth across the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) region.
With this appointment, Audrey Koffi succeeds Jean-Louis Menann-Kouamé, who has led the digital bank since its launch in 2020.
Before taking up the top role, Audrey Koffi served as Director of Commercial Development and Strategy at Orange Bank Africa. She previously held the position of Chief Risk Officer, where she played a central role in strengthening the bank’s governance, risk management systems, and digital transformation agenda
With more than 15 years of experience in the banking sector, Koffi is widely recognised for her expertise in strategic innovation and financial inclusion. She notably led the development of the Tik Tak digital credit scoring system, a product that has expanded access to loans for millions of customers in Côte d’Ivoire.
She also contributed significantly to Orange Bank Africa’s expansion into Senegal in 2024 and helped establish a strategic partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) aimed at improving access to financing, particularly for women entrepreneurs.
In her new role, Koffi is expected to drive the continued digital transformation of the bank, strengthen its commercial growth, and expand its footprint across the sub-region.
